  The Education Department Has Finally Heard Our Cries For Help   The Department of Education recently released draft regulations to improve two federal grant programs that are vital to improving career and technical education (CTE) in the U.S. These two grant programs, Title II of the Carl D. Perkins Career and Technical Education Act of 2006 and Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA), currently serve over 4 million students nationwide, with Title II serving approximately 3 million students across America’s schools and colleges every year.   School Funding Is Broken, But There Are Ways To Fix It The education department has finally released proposed regulations to expand and improve targeted relief programs.
